Rail Road Museum – Kenora, ON

Remr Roofing 2016 community initiative in progress re – roofing the Rail Road museum, great job Jordan Guyot and crew!

Without the railroad, our town would never have grown into what it is today. We are honoured to call Kenora our home and donating a new roof to a volunteer-run establishment that honours the history of this community was a must for REMR Roofing.

The Lake of the Woods Railroad Museum is open Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1PM until 4PM. We highly recommend you check it out.

Ignace Tourism Center

Wow, this is where the saying a picture is worth 1000 words earns its truth! 600 bundles of shingles installed on the Ignace Tourism Centre. Absolutely beautiful work Billy Merritt and crew, day 3 in very iffy weather all around the area, it doesn’t get any better than that people. REMR Roofing, It’s All We Do! and we do it right the first time!

Notice that this post transpires in reverse as it usually does not, great job Jordan guyot and crew! See those 2 upgraded plumbing boots, the old original ones were lead and are only 3″ – 4″ off the roof so snow and ice gets plugged up, now when the plumber upgrades your old cast plumbing, it slides in nice and smooth that’s mandatory from the Ontario Building Code, that will save you $300 x 2 pipes and you won’t be up to code if you go with another contractor that does not do that to get the job, that doesn’t include this time consuming upgrade and then when you redo your plumbing you will have to hire a roofer and spend that $600 you just you saved by going with the lower price.

Check references, check lawsuits on the Roofing Contractor and the shingle manufacturer and how they honour things, check their reviews on FB, if they are not on FB and don’t have a website and use Bp Shingles cross them off your list all together.
